The newest addition to our Rocksteady lineup, may not be exactly what first comes to mind when you think about summer beers, but trust us, the ice age is coming. Copper-Golden color with a distinctly malty finish; this American Bitter balances a light herbaceous nose with an easy drinking sweetness. London is Calling and you can enjoy one down by the river (creek)!
A crisp red ale with notes of fig, raisin, and caramel balanced by a light hoppy bitterness.
AIBC’s take on a traditional Bavarian Hefeweizen. Wheat and German Pilsner malt start it out while the special house yeast strain gives it banana and clove esters. Its smoothness and effervescence make this the perfect beer for summer.
Session IPA dry hopped with massive amounts of Mosaic hops. Light in color but very bright with tropical aromas.
Our bittersweet chocolate stout meets smooth (not too sweet) peanut butter & the result is all kinds of nutty, but nice.
IPA - Imperial / Double
Curmudgeon is an old ale brewed with molasses and aged on oak; it becomes Better Half after aging—for 254 days—in bourbon barrels that have more recently been aging Michigan maple syrup. As a result, Curmudgeon’s Better Half is a bit sweeter than her miserly counterpart.
Mosaic Promise showcases two unique ingredients: Mosaic hops and Golden Promise malt. The versatility of the hop’s pleasing aroma and flavor characteristics and the traditional barley’s depth of flavor comprise this clean, rich, golden beer. We can brew complex beers with the best of them, but we recognize that there is also beauty in simplicity.
American Pale Ale
After six generations of growing pears, our Pear Cider has been crafted to showcase the fruit we grow. From great fruit comes great cider.
This beer is a bold, in-your-face hop monster. It has a light, easy drinking malt character that allows the hops to stand out. The hop character in this beer is intentionally on the dank side; big, sticky, and aggressive. This beer is for those of you who can't get enough hops. Join us on the dank side.
"This blood-red ale may not be what you might expect from a malty and hoppy craft beer. Evil Twin has a rich malt character, without being overly sweet. It has a huge hop character, without being overly bitter."
Vibrant notes of stone fruit, pine, & refreshing citrus dazzle the palate before making their exit in a graceful, dry finish that argues convincingly for a follow-up sip. It's the sum of our (current) IPA-brewing wisdom, & it also happens to pair pretty wonderfully with those veggie pakoras a couple of aisles over.
Fruitlands is tart, fruity, & frighteningly delicious. The sour, salty base beer lays down the funky refreshment, while a heavy dose of passion fruit and guava turns the whole thing into a wall-to-wall tropical fruit fiesta. It’s a marvelous mix of elements that collides with your mouth like a fruit-filled asteroid of flavor traveling at the supersonic speed of party.
We brewed this massively tasty imperial dessert stout with Jacobsen sea salt and candi sugar before loading it up with extremely generous helpings of toasted cocoa and Tahitian vanilla beans. Notes of milk chocolate, salted nuts, dark cherries, and luxurious vanilla combine to form a liquid vortex of decadence that wraps the palate in a warm, lingering embrace.
The flavor: cold. The crushability: maximum. Ice was our very first pils, and it brings the noise. Hopped with Czech Saaz hops before, like, so many weeks of lagering, Ice packs the flavor of the mighty San Diego mountains into a compact, low-ABV package.
We’ll be dosing this silky, chocolaty stout with generous amounts of our house-roasted coffee, yielding a magnificent flavor-combo that celebrates our love of both beverages in the most delicious fashion imaginable.
Le Merle is a rustic ale, pale in color, inspired by the rich brewing traditions of the Flanders region. Abundant hops and a Belgian yeast strain contribute exotic aromas of tropical fruit.
